A prototype of an electric powertrain system for electric boats has been developed. The goal is to reduce reliance on the imported technology and enhance the capability of the industry in manufacturing electric boats and other types of electric vehicles. The powertrain system includes two 250 kW electric motors, replacing an internal combustion engine, and two high-voltage battery packs with a total voltage of 600-700 V and a total capacity of 312.5 kWh as an energy storage.
Operational outputs in 2021
1) An electric powertrain system for electric boats has been designed and assembled using a high-voltage box, which can separate the electrical load distribution system and the electrical charging system apart.
2) A safety system to prevent high-voltage electrical shock has been developed.
3) An industrial prototype of electric powertrain and propulsion for electric boat has been developed.
4) Technology transfer of electric powertrain system for electric boats to the industry.
