Dr. Thanya delivered a lecture on &#8220;Advancements in Energy Storage Technology,&#8221; while Dr. Jiravan provided and overview on &#8220;Benefits, Applications, and Current Situations of Energy Storage Systems in Power Systems: Both Domestically and Internationally.\u201d Additionally, Dr. Jiravan participated in a panel discussion on &#8220;Examples, Key Mechanisms, Problems and Obstacles, Opportunities, and Applications of Energy Storage Systems in Power Systems,&#8221; alongside experts from universities, government agencies, and leading private companies.<\/p><p>The seminar highlighted the growing attention on electricity generation from renewable sources driven by technological advancements and government commitments. It is anticipated that renewable sources such as solar, wind, biomass, hydro, and hydrogen will account for over 50% of total electricity production in the future. This transition is motivated by environmental concerns and Thailand&#8217;s goals set at COP 28, including achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2050 and Net Zero emissions by 2065.
