(NANOTEC), all under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), hosted a distinguished delegation from the Cross-Ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) of the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) of Japan, led by Dr. Masahiro TAKEMURA, Office Chief and Project data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The NSTDA team, led by Dr. Uracha Ruktanonchai, Executive Director of NANOTEC, along with Ms. Sansanee Huabsomboon, Deputy Executive Director of NANOTEC, Dr. Asira Fuongfuchat, Deputy Executive Director of MTEC, and Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Director of the Energy Innovation Research Group at ENTEC presented an overview of the research and management activities of NSTDA, MTEC, ENTEC, and the NSTDA Start-up Ecosystem. This was followed by a presentation of the SIP project, which is supported by the Cabinet of Japan to promote the commercialization of technology and innovation in the form of startups and business incubation, highlighting successful companies from the project.<\/p><p>On this occasion, Dr. Pimpa presented ENTEC&#8217;s Energy Storage research and innovations which gathered interest in future collaboration. Subsequently, Dr. Nattanai Kunanusont, Dr. Chakrit Sriprachuabwong, and Dr. Thanya Phraewphiphat, researchers from the Energy Storage Technology Research Team, guided the SIP, NIMS delegates to visit the Energy Storage Technology laboratory and presented research findings on materials for lithium-ion batteries and their applications in electric vehicles and electric motorcycles.<br \/><br \/>The Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) is a strategic innovation promotion initiative under NIMS aimed at fostering collaboration and competition across industries. By analyzing societal and market demands, studying research and development trends, and exploring business development strategies, SIP seeks to expand collaborative R&amp;D efforts. This program also leverage mechanisms similar to the NSTDA Start-up Ecosystem to drive innovation at both research and national levels.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
