On July 3, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok<\/span><\/p>

The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), through the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), and the Thailand Center of Excellence for Electric Vehicles (TECE), in collaboration with STV Implementation and Informa Markets, organized a seminar titled \u201cNext Energy Frontiers: Innovations for the Future of Energy and Mobility.\u201d <\/em><\/span><\/p>

This seminar served as a vital platform for knowledge exchange and the presentation of cutting-edge trends in energy and transportation technologies, which are key drivers of sustainable development in Thailand and the broader ASEAN region. Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of ENTEC and TECE under NSTDA, stated that the world is currently facing major challenges in energy security and climate change, which are accelerating the global shift toward clean energy. This is particularly evident in the rapid advancement of renewable energy technologies and battery energy storage systems, with the market for these technologies expected to exceed USD 150 billion by 2030.<\/span><\/p>

The seminar aimed to showcase high-potential research and innovations in the energy sector, with a strong focus on scaling up solutions for real-world industrial applications. The event brought together leading researchers from academic institutions and government research agencies under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. Key participants included the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT), the Li-ion Battery Pilot Plant, Khon Kaen University, the Energy Research Institute at Chulalongkorn University, the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE), and the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
