The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), organized the SAF Working Group Milestone Meeting to foster knowledge exchange and strengthen collaboration on the development of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Thailand and across the region.<\/span><\/p>

Dr. Dominika Kalinowska, Director of Transport Projects at GIZ Thailand\/ASEAN, delivered the opening remarks, followed by a keynote address on \u201cSustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Thailand\u201d<\/em> by Ms. Krittima Shoosanglertwijit, Director of the Strategy and Planning Division, Department of Energy Business (DOEB), Ministry of Energy. Ms. Krittima highlighting Thailand\u2019s policy direction and strong commitment to supporting SAF as part of the nation\u2019s decarbonization efforts in the aviation sector.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    The event also featured a panel discussion on \u201cDecentralization to Centralization of Bio-resources to PtX Products in Thailand\u201d<\/em>, moderated by representatives from GIZ and ENTEC. The session explored strategies to bridge bio-resource management and PtX-based SAF production, a key pathway toward a low-carbon economy.<\/span><\/p>

    In closing, Mr. Tim Nees, H2Uppp Project Manager, GIZ Thailand, emphasized the importance of collaboration among government, private sector, and research institutions to establish a sustainable foundation for Thailand\u2019s SAF ecosystem, encouraging continued investment and technology deployment to support the aviation sector\u2019s decarbonization goals.<\/span><\/p>
