collaboration with the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), organized a brainstorming workshop on integrating the Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) framework to support the development of Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology under the initiative \u201cScience Technology, and Innovation (STI) Integration and Knowledge Management for the Development of Low-Carbon Energy recommendations from key stakeholders to shape a comprehensive STI framework that supports the systematic development of SMR technology in alignment with Thailand\u2019s Low-Carbon Energy Strategy. It also sought to enhance mutual understanding and establish guidelines for integrated collaboration among government agencies, academia, and the private sector in developing knowledge, research, technology, and enabling mechanisms necessary for the sustainable deployment of SMR technology in Thailand.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The event was honored by opening remarks from Professor Dr. Komgrit Leksakul, Deputy Director of TSRI, and Associate Professor Dr. Thawatchai Onjan, Executive Director of Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT), with over 30 representatives from nuclear energy-related agencies in Director of the Low Carbon Energy Research Group, and Dr. Kampanart Silva, a researcher from ENTEC&#8217;s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, together with Dr. Wasin Vetchakama from TINT, presented on the project implementation approach for the STI integrated collaboration and knowledge management initiative in low-carbon energy and circular economy. They also shared findings from stakeholder discussions on STI needs to support SMR development and proposed the related STI implementation framework. The session concluded with an open forum for participants to exchange perspectives and provide feedback.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">This workshop served as a crucial platform for policy and technical dialogue, contributing to the formulation of a clear and comprehensive STI framework that supports SMR development in Thailand. The framework encompasses technology, research, knowledge development, and management mechanisms while strengthening networks among Thailand\u2019s key nuclear energy agencies and innovation research institutes. The ultimate goal is to advance SMR technology toward practical implementation and sustainably support Thailand&#8217;s low-carbon energy development
