Under this project, an EnPAT-filled transformer was installed in Chang Khlan subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai district, Chiang Mai province, under the supervision of the PEA Chiang Mai Branch. The installation was overseen by Mr. Apirak Thinphithayanurat, Manager of the PEA Branch Level 11, Acting Manager of the Provincial Electricity Authority of Chiang point, which is twice as high as that of conventional transformer oil, helping to reduce the risk of fire hazards. It offers a high level of safety, particularly in densely populated areas. Additionally, EnPAT is fully biodegradable and environmentally friendly, posing no risk of environmental contamination in the event of leakage. It can also be recycled as a raw material for biodiesel production.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The adoption of EnPAT, made from locally produced Thai palm oil, represents an important milestone in supporting Chiang Mai&#8217;s development toward becoming a hub for energy innovation and clean technologies in the northern region. With its strong foundation of academic institutions, startups, and creative economic innovations, Chiang Mai\u2019s embrace of environmentally friendly technologies not only enhances the safety and sustainability of its power infrastructure but also reflects the city\u2019s forward-looking vision for bio-based, eco-friendly innovation.
