On March 26, 2025, National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), Group, led by Dr. Peerawat Saisirirat, the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team Leader, Low Carbon Energy Research Group, along with Dr. Yuji Yoshimura, Senior Visiting Researcher, Dr. Suparoek Henpraserttae, Project Researcher, and the research team delivered 700 liters of premium biodiesel (H-FAME). This premium biodiesel was produced under the project “Demonstration of 100% High-Quality Biodiesel Production and Field Testing in Thailand,” funded by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). The H-FAME was handed over to Sun-up Corporation (Thailand) Limited for real-world testing in 100% premium biodiesel (B100) applications with their trucks. The field utilization data from this test will help build confidence in using B100 premium biodiesel (H-FAME) as a carbon-neutral fuel, supporting carbon emission reduction efforts for businesses and users interested in mitigating climate change.
