2025.10.14 ENTEC co-hosted in High-Level Capacity-Building Meeting on Sustainable Transport Policy for Bhutan

On October 14-17, 2025. Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of Low Carbon Energy Research Group, National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), along with the working team consisting of Dr. Kampanart Silve, Dr. Tawan Champeecharoensuk, Dr. Arthit Champeecharoensuk, and Mr. Nayos Sirisoot, co-hosted a High-Level Capacity-Building Meeting on Sustainable Transport Policy for Bhutan with United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) led by Dr. Katrin Luger at YT513 Room, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA).

The meeting aimed to support the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MoIT) of Bhutan in Policy & Planning Division in the development of its National Transport Policy (NTP), which is intended to serve as a framework to guide the country’s transport strategy in the coming years, encompassing areas such as transport policy, electric vehicles (EVs), intelligent transport systems (ITS), and hydrogen technologies.

During the event, Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), gave a presentation on the hydrogen module, focusing on “H₂ Research.”
