On March 27, 2026, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, welcomed representatives from the private sector, including K.T.S Larger Goods Co., Ltd., a producer and distributor of biomass fuel (wood pellets), and Solid ASEAN Ltd., a developer of cooling technologies for solar panels, for a visit to ENTEC’s research facilities and laboratories
During the visit, Dr. Tawan Champeecharoensuk, a researcher from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, along with team members, Ms. Kanokwan Maikaew, Mr. Nayos Sirisoot, and Mr. Pham Dinh Thao, provided an overview of ENTEC’s research and innovations, covering biofuels, renewable energy, and clean energy technologies. The delegates also toured pilot-scale facilities and ENTEC’s key laboratories.
The visit featured knowledge exchange and discussions on potential collaboration opportunities, with a particular focus on biomass fuel (wood pellets) logistics and transportation, as well as enhancing of solar energy systems through advanced cooling technologies. These innovations play a crucial role in improving power generation efficiency and extending the operational lifespan of solar panels.
This visit highlights ENTEC’s role as a national hub for energy research and development, fostering strong partnerships with industry to drive clean energy innovation and support sustainable energy development.
