ENTEC participated in “MHESI Fair: SCI-POWER For Future Thailand” held from July 22 to 28, 2024, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.

On July 23, 2024, National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, participated in “MHESI Fair,” which includes

1. At the “Investment Pitching Stage,” located on the Ground floor, Hall 3 – Dr. Taweewat Krajangsang, a researcher from Solar Photovoltaic Research Team, ENTEC, NSTDA showcased groundbreaking research on solar technology “AgriPV”. This innovative solar panel design does not block sunlight, allowing it to generate clean energy while also promoting plant growth. Dr. Taweewat’s presentation aimed to highlight opportunities for entrepreneurs interested in technology business ventures, investment prospects, and potential collaborations or joint ventures directly with the researchers who developed this cutting-edge technology.

On this occasion, Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of ENTEC, NSTDA, Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Assistant Executive Director, Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of the Low Carbon Energy Research Group, Dr. Amornrat Limmanee, Head of the Solar Photovoltaic Research Team, and other staff members showed their support by voting “AgriPV” for the most interesting technology for investment andpresentation of the event.

2. At the meeting room 201 on the 2nd Floor – Dr. Amornrat Limmanee participated as a panelist in the discussion on “Moving Towards Net Zero Without Leaving Solar Cells Behind.” This discussion panel was organized by the Circular Economy Program under the Program Management Unit Competitiveness (PMUC). The event provided a platform for policymakers, academics, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and collaboratively explore sustainable management alternatives for decommissioned solar panels in Thailand.
