ENTEC NSTDA Participated in MOU Signing Ceremony between NSTDA and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT)

On August 2, 2024, One North meeting room, Innovation Cluster 2 Building, Thailand Science Park, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)

Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), with Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Assistant Executive Director, Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of Low Carbon Energy Research Group, and a team of researchers, attended the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between NSTDA and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) to establish collaboration in knowledge sharing and joint research activities.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. Uracha Ruktanonchai, Executive Director of the National Nanotechnology Center (Nanotec), NSTDA, delivered welcoming remarks and provided an overview of NSTDA to the TUAT delegates. Subsequently, Professor Yohda, the project leader, expressed his sincere appreciation and enthusiasm for the collaboration with NSTDA. The introductions continued with Associate Professor Dr. Kanehashi, leader of the SATREPS research team who provided an introduction of TUAT to the audiences. The ceremony concluded with NSTDA executives and TUAT delegates coming together for a commemorative group photograph, symbolizing the beginning of this promising partnership.

Following the ceremony, Dr. Nuwong led the TUAT delegation on a visit to the Solar Photovoltaic Research Team (SPVT) at ENTEC. Dr. Amornrat Limmaneee, head of the Solar Photovoltaic Research Team, warmly welcomed the visitors and provided insights into their photovoltaic research. Additionally, there were productive discussions regarding collaborations under the SATREPS project, in which ENTEC is participating in the development of Rubber Seed Oil (RSO) utilization technology for materials and energy. These discussions laid the groundwork for establishing comprehensive joint research operations and promising a fruitful partnership between the two institutions.
