National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), a member of National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) collaborates with the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP) to host the orientation seminar for the project “Study for Establishing Baseline Data and Tracking Greenhouse Gas Emission Reductions through Vehicle Energy Efficiency Measures.”

The seminar featured presentations by Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of the Low Carbon Energy Research Group and Dr. Peerawat Saisirirat, a researcher from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, both representing ENTEC. They provided an overview of the study’s initial framework and engaged in discussions with relevant stakeholders, gathering crucial feedback for further refinement.

The seminar fostered a dynamic exchange of insights, ensuring that the development of baseline data and the tracking of greenhouse gas emission align with vehicle energy efficiency improvement measures. These efforts are instrumental in supporting the targets set by the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning for emission reductions within the transport sector.
