2025.04.30 ENTEC and Kumwell Deliver “EnKlean” and “KEW Kare” to Mettapracharak Hospital

April 30, 2025, at Mettapracharak Hospital (Wat Rai Khing), Nakhon Pathom

Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Assistant Executive Director of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), along with Dr. Visarn Lilavivat and Dr. Somsak Supasitmongkol, researchers from the Low Carbon Energy Research Group, joined Mr. Annop Roma, Director of Testing Laboratory, and staff from Kumwell Corporation Public Company Limited to deliver two jointly developed innovations: “EN-Klean” and “KEW Kare” to the Director of Mettapracharak Hospital (Wat Rai Khing).

The handover featured “EN-Klean,” an electrochemical efficiency testing device for chlorine-based disinfectant production systems, and “KEW Kare,” a chemical analyzer designed for virus and bacteria inhibitors or disinfectants.

On this significant occasion, Dr. Somsak Supasitmongkol, the project leader, served as the main speaker presenting the research objectives and development of these two prototypes. Together with Kumwell Corporation staff, he conducted a hands-on training session to demonstrate the operation of the “EN-Klean” and “KEW Kare” devices to the hospital’s medical personnel. This initiative empowers healthcare facilities to independently produce their own disinfectants, reflecting ongoing efforts to enhance self-sufficiency and capacity building in the healthcare sector.
