The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA hosted the kick-off meeting for the “JST NEXUS Y-tec (Young Talents Exchange and Capacity Development Program): Transregional Biofuels Collaboration for Sustainable Transportation” project.
The meeting brought together researchers and collaborators from partner institutions across Thailand and abroad. ENTEC delegation was led by Dr. Peerawat Saisirirat, Research Team Leader of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, under Low Carbon Energy research group at ENTEC, together with Dr. Tawan Champeecharoensuk, Dr. Arthit Champeecharoensuk, and Mr. Purinat Ratipornlert. The sessions included a project overview, research collaboration discussion, capacity development for young researchers, and planning for future joint activities under the JST NEXUS Y-tec program.
The program aims to strengthen transregional collaboration in biofuels research, supporting sustainable transportation development and low-carbon energy transitions across the region. The meeting also served as a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange knowledge, align research directions, and explore potential network-building among partner institutions from Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand.
