On September 19, 2023, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), led by Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of the Low Carbon Energy Research Group, and Dr. Kampanart Silva, a researcher in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, along with their team, organized a subcommittee meeting to gather information, feedback, and suggestions regarding effective measures to promote renewable energy and energy conservation in Rayong Province. This initiative is a part of the ” Planning and Measures to Promote and Develop Energy towards Thailand’s Carbon Neutrality Project,” This ambitious endeavor saw active collaboration among various government agencies, associations, and industrial estates in Rayong Province, all working in concert to provide valuable insights and recommendations concerning the policies and measures required to achieve carbon neutrality.
The meeting attracted substantial interest and robust participation from both the public and private sectors. Representatives from numerous local businesses within Rayong Province engaged enthusiastically in the discussions. Furthermore, government agencies lent their expertise and insights, contributing invaluable recommendations on the most effective strategies to advance the cause of renewable energy and energy conservation.
