ENTEC participated in an academic training session titled “Green Hydrogen: Technology, Production, Storage, Transportation, Design, Infrastructure, and Applications.”

On October 16 -18, 2023 at the Arnoma Grand Hotel in Bangkok

Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of ENTEC, and Dr. Visarn Lilavivat, senior researcher of the Low Carbon Energy Research Group (LCRG), participated in an academic training session titled “Green Hydrogen: Technology, Production, Storage, Transportation, Design, Infrastructure, and Applications.” This event, organized by IEEE Power & Energy Society (Thailand) in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and Hydrogen Thailand, aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding of hydrogen production technology and fuel cells. The training comprehensively covered aspects such as design, infrastructure, storage, transportation, and applications, targeting a diverse audience including investors, design and installation service providers, engineers, and operational staff.

On October 16, 2023, Dr. Sumittra actively contributed to Session 1: The future of hydrogen, Thailand’s readiness, driving factors, and gave a presentation on ‘Global Trends in Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research and Development.’ She also participated in Session 2: ‘Fundamentals and Technology of Hydrogen Production and Fuel Cells, presenting on ‘Fuel Cells Technologies’.  During the same session, Dr. Visarn delivered a talk on ‘Development and Application of Fuel Cell.’

On October 18, 2023, Dr. Sumittra took on the role of Session Chairman for Session 5, focusing on case studies of integrating green hydrogen with power grids and fueling stations abroad. Additionally, she also moderated Session 6, delving into strategies, management mechanisms for green hydrogen, market conditions, and trends in carbon credit trading.
