On June 6, 2024, at the Innovation Cluster 2 Building (INC2), Thailand Science Park, the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)
Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Director of the Energy Innovation Research Group (EIRG), at the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, hosted a visit from Professor Mattias Lindahl and Professor Erik Sundin from Linköping University, Sweden. Professors Mattias Lindahl and Erik Sundin were invited to participate in the ‘DE4CE Design for Circular Economy in collaboration between Linköping University, Sweden, at MTEC NSTDA, aiming to share their knowledge and expertise in Design for Circular Economy and Remanufacturing from 4 – 7 June 2024.
During the visit, Dr. Pimpa provided an overview of the group’s research activities including solar cells (PV) and the development of energy storage materials such as acetylene black, carbon electrode from biomass, and electrolytes. She also provided information on battery pack design and electric motorcycle battery swapping. Dr. Nattanai Kunanusont, a researcher, joined and presented on the battery recycling project, highlighting material recovery and regeneration. The visitors showed keen interest and actively exchanged ideas, marking a promising opportunity for future networking and collaboration.
