Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), delivered a special speech on “Science and Technology for Energy Transition”. She discussed policies, knowledge and technology exchange, and infrastructure development to support Thailand’s Electrical Vehicle (EV) industry. This speech was part of the international seminar on energy, ERC Forum 2024, held from May 16-17, 2024, under the theme “Renewable and Sustainable Energy Transition”.
During the seminar, Professor Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong, President of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) served as the session chair. Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Director of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, also participated as a speaker, presenting on “Future Technology Trends towards Energy Transition”, which has attracted significant attention from representatives of energy regulatory organizations across ASEAN-member countries, as well as international energy agencies from both the public and private sectors, and member countries of the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA).
