ENTEC NSTDA participated in the Sustainable Energy Technology Asia (SETA 2024) event, also known as “SustainAsia Week 2024”.

On August 16, 2024, the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangkok,
The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, led by Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of ENTEC, along with researchers, participated in the Sustainable Energy Technology Asia (SETA 2024) event, also known as “SustainAsia Week 2024”.

SETA 2024 took place from August 15-17, 2024, under the theme “Low Carbon & Sustainable ASEAN Economy SETA 2024”. ENTEC contributed to the event through panel discussions and participated in the exhibition session as follows:
1. Dr. Nattanai Kunanusont, a researcher from the Energy Storage Technology Research Team (ESTT), was invited as a panelist in the Mobility Forum at EH100 meeting room. Dr. Nattanai contributed to the discussion on “Circular Economy in EV Batteries: Recycling and Second Life”.
2. The Low Carbon Research Group (LCRG), led by Dr. Yuji Yoshimura, a senior visiting researcher at ENTEC, participated in the exhibition session. ENTEC presented their work on “Premium biodiesel of H-FAME as a Carbon Neutral Fuel (B100) for Internal Combustion Engines”. This ongoing project focuses on developing and demonstrating the use of H-FAME, a clean, carbon-neutral fuel. The project receives support from the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) of Japan, with funding provided through the SATREPS program.
