ENTEC NSTDA participates in APEC Research Center for Advanced Biohydrogen Technology (APEC-ACABT)

Dr. Visarn Lilavivat, a researcher from Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), represented ENTEC at a meeting of the APEC Research Center for Advanced Biohydrogen Technology (APEC-ACABT) visit to the APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC-CTF). The meeting, hosted by the APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC-CTF), brought together key representatives from Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, and the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO).

During this meeting, Dr. Visarn engaged in discussions with Professor Dr. Shu-Yii Wu, CEO of APEC-ACABT, and other members of the team regarding the establishment of the ACABT Bangkok Chapter in Thailand. ENTEC showcased the potential of bioenergy in Thailand, highlighting ongoing projects focused on hydrogen production form biogas. These initiatives align with APEC-ACABT’s Green Synergy Solution (GSS) goals and Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) strategy.

This meeting marks a significant advancement in fostering collaboration on bioenergy technologies between Thailand and APEC, with a mutual commitment to developing environmentally friendly sustainable technologies and promoting a green circular economy.
