ENTEC NSTDA Welcomes JAIMA Vice Chairman of the International Affairs Committee for Laboratory Visit

On September 12, 2024, at M120 Conference Room, MTEC, Thailand Science Park, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA).

National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), hosted a distinguished delegation from the Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers’ Association (JAIMA) for a laboratory visit. On this occasion, Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, ENTEC Executive Director, and Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Assistant Executive Director, welcomed Mr. Tatsuyori Takemoto, Vice Chairman of JAIMA’s International Affairs Committee, and his colleagues for to ENTEC. During the visit, Dr. Sumittra delivered an overview of ENTEC’s research activities. Both parties have engaged in fostering dialogue on potential future networking opportunities. Subsequently, the JAIMA delegation was given an exclusive tour of ENTEC’s research facilities, including:

  1. Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Laboratory (RENT): Miss Kanokwan Maikaew and Mr. Pham Dinh Thao, research assistants, showcased the lab’s research work in hydrogen energy technology
  2. Energy Storage Technology Research Laboratory (ESTT): Dr. Manop Masomtob provided an in-depth look at battery pack design and development, including a demonstration of the electric motorcycle chassis dynamometer testing facility.
  3.  Clean Fuel Technology and Advanced Chemistry Research Laboratory (CFCT): Dr. Vituruch Goodwin introduced the lab’s innovative research in oleochemistry and biofuel testing instruments and facilities.
