ENTEC participated in the Workshop on “Electric Mobility in Developing Countries: Feasibility, Challenges, and Sustainability”

On June 3-4, 2024, the National Energy Technology Center, represented by Dr. Peerawat Saisirirat and Dr. Tawan Champeecharoensuk, participated in the Workshop on “Electric Mobility in Developing Countries: Feasibility, Challenges, and Sustainability” at Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Jakarta, Indonesia. The team presented their research on the “Global Warming Potential and Environmental Impacts of Electric Vehicles and Batteries in ASEAN” and the “Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Analysis of Electric Vehicles in ASEAN.”

The workshop featured participation from a variety of stakeholders, including representatives from Shenzhen Technology University, Badan Riset Dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN), TH Köln, TU Delft, Universitas Indonesia, TRANSISI, and ERIA. The stakeholders shared their research and experiences on electric mobility in developing countries, contributing to informative and fruitful discussion.
