Congratulations! Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Director of the Energy Innovation Research Group at the National Energy Technology Center – ENTEC, has been honored as the winner of “The Underwriters Laboratories-ASEAN-US. Science Prize for Women 2023: Senior Scientist Category, under the theme of Electrification.
The prize was presented during the 84th ASEAN COSTI (Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation) meeting in Bohol, The Philippines, on October 20, 2023. Dr. Pimpa showcased her remarkable work and expertise in the field of energy innovation. In addition, the 2023 Prize provides promising, ASEAN-national, Mid-career and Senior female scientists with recognition awards from ASEAN and the United States government and Underwriters Laboratories for their academic and professional achievements. It emphasizes the role of female scientists who have used their work to improve the society in sustainable ways and have acted as role models for other women learning, working in, and pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
