On October 21-23, 2024, the National Energy Technology Center, led by Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of Low Carbon Energy Research Group, Dr. Tawan Champeecharoensuk and Mr. Khemrath Vithean, participated in the International Conference on sustainable Energy 2024 (ICUE 2024) on “Energy Transition and Net-Zero Climate Future” at Long Beach Garden Hotel and Pavilions, Pattaya City. During the conference, Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, director of Low Carbon Energy Research Group moderated the plenary panel discussion 1 on the “Energy Policies and Just Transition”, and the team presented their research on the “Transport Scenario Study for Carbon Neutral and Resilient Urban Planning in Phuket using LEAP Model” and “Economic Analysis Framework for Climate Adaptation Investment Towards Resilient Land Transport Infrastructure: A Thailand Case Study”.
