December 4, 2024 – The Thai Energy Storage Technology Association (TESTA) held its 2024 Annual General Meeting at the Sapphire 101 Room, IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi. The meeting featured a comprehensive review of the association’s achievements over the past year, including operational performance and budget management. Key agenda items included outlining strategic plans for the coming year and electing the new president and executive committee for the 2025–2027 term.
In a resounding vote of confidence, Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Director of the Energy Innovation Research Group at the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), was re-elected as President of TESTA for another term. Dr. Pimpa will continue to lead the association, focusing on advancing its mission to promote technological innovation in energy storage systems across Thailand. The newly elected executive committee includes Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of Low Carbon Energy Research Group, along with Dr. Dr.Thanya Phraewphiphat, Dr. Jiravan Mongkoltanatas, and Dr. Nattanai Kunanusont, researchers from the Energy Innovation Research Group.
ENTEC’s researchers have been strongly involved in the association’s leadership which demonstrates their vital role in driving TESTA’s objectives forward. The association serves as a crucial link between its members and allied networks across various sectors, including academic institutions, research institutes, public sectors, industrial sectors, and private enterprises. TESTA plays a fundamental role in educating the public and promoting technological advancement in energy storage systems throughout Thailand.
Following the meeting, Dr. Pimpa, President of TESTA, hosted a reception at 145F Grill & Bar, Novotel Bangkok Impact, Muang Thong Thani, to express gratitude to the executive committee and association members for their continued dedication to advancing TESTA’s missions.
