Prof. Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong, President of National Science and Development Agency (NSTDA) and President of the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) together with Professor Hongping HE, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), officially opened the seminar “Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Development”.
During the event, Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of the Low Carbon Energy Research Group, National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), delivered a presentation on “Clean Energy Solutions for a Greener Planet”. Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Executive Assistant Director of ENTEC, was also in attendance.
The seminar showcased new technologies aimed at promoting sustainable development and provided a platform for scientists from diverse disciplines to establish networks and explore collaborative opportunities with esteemed research communities across Southeast Asia and beyond. The combination of the Governing Board meeting and scientific seminar created a unique opportunity to strengthen partnerships between ANSO member and non-member organizations.
