2024.12.20-16 ENTEC’s Participation in the JASTIP Wrap-up Workshops and Symposium, on December 16–20, 2024, Bangkok, Thailand

The Japan-ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Platform (JASTIP) hosted a series of workshops and a symposium in Bangkok, Thailand, from December 16–20, 2024. These events highlighted the program’s achievements and focused on key areas, including STI coordination, energy, bioresources, and disaster resilience.

On December 16, Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Assistant Executive Director of ENTEC, NSTDA, actively participated in the JASTIP WP1 Wrap-up Workshop alongside representatives from notable organizations such as the Pale Blue Dot Foundation, the Office of SMEs Promotion (Thailand), ASEAN COSTI, and Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI).

Dr. Lily also served as a panelist representing JASTIP Work Package 2 (WP2). In this role, she contributed to discussions on two critical topics: the achievements of STI collaborations facilitated by JASTIP and the vital role of researchers in shaping STI policymaking.

JASTIP, an initiative promoting scientific cooperation between Japan and ASEAN member states, has been instrumental in advancing regional collaboration in science, technology, and innovation, addressing shared challenges and fostering sustainable development.
