2025.01.14 ENTEC’s Participates in the Final Workshop of Toyota Foundation Project “Mutual learning of Science, Technology and Innovation Coordination to Bridge different countries and sectors in Cambodia, Thailand and Japan toward Capacity Development Program and Policy Recommendation”

On January 14, 2025, at the 10th floor meeting room of the Techosen Building, Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI), Phnom Penh, Cambodia,

Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of ENTEC, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), along with Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of the Low Carbon Energy Research Group, attended the final workshop of Toyota Foundation Project at Cambodia’s Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI). The workshop aimed to exchange knowledge on “Mutual Learning of Science, Technology, and Innovation Coordination to Bridge Different Countries and Sectors”, within the framework of the Cambodia, Thailand, and Japan Cooperation Program for Capacity Development and Policy Recommendations, which is supported by the Toyota Foundation of Japan.

During the event, Dr. Sumittra presented the activities and outcomes of ENTEC’s projects, while Dr. Nuwong shared an example of a training course module on program and project management in science, research, and innovation, aligned with the goals of the project. This participation highlights the crucial role of researchers and research organizations in fostering mutual learning in science, technology, and innovation (STI) across countries in the region, strengthening capacities to develop projects and advance STI policies.
