On March 18, 2025, at the Fourth South Board Room, INC2 Building, Thailand Science Park
The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), led by Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director, along with Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Assistant Executive Director, Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, Director of the Energy Innovation Research Group, and research team members, welcomed Dr. Fukuya Iino, representative of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Regional Office, and delegates. The visit focused on discussing the progress of the “Adoption of Electric Vehicles in Thailand” project and included a tour of research facilities.
During the meeting, Dr. Sumittra provided an overview of the project’s advancements, with contributions from ENTEC researchers Dr. Jiravan Mongkoltanatas, Dr. Visarn Lilavivat, and Dr. Nattanai Kunanusont, as well as collaborators from MTEC, NECTEC, and NSTDA, including Dr. Chi-na Benyajati, Dr. Burin Kerdsup, and Ms. Nunchaya Chumni. The team engaged in insightful discussions, addressing key questions and sharing their perspectives on the project’s progress and future directions.
Following the discussion, Dr. Pimpa and Dr. Nattanai guided the UNIDO delegation on a tour of ENTEC’s Energy Storage Technology Laboratory. The delegation expressed keen interest in ENTEC’s cutting-edge research and innovations in energy storage. This visit marks a significant step toward deeper collaboration between ENTEC and UNIDO, with hopes for continued partnership in advancing research and innovation between the organizations in the future.
