On March 20, 2025 at Saranwit Hall, 1st Floor, Multi-Purpose Building, Thailand Science Park, Pathum Thani

Dr. Sumitra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC) and Director of the Thailand EV Center of Excellence (TECE) at the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), alongside representatives from National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), and Associate Professor Nuchtiphong U-thong, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the “Development of Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology and Human Resource Training.”

This agreement will support the research project titled “Development of the Coordinating and Managing Entity (CME) Platform for Managing Carbon Emissions from Electric Vehicle Use,” which is part of the EV-Transformation plan aimed at supporting the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation’s MHESI for EV policy. The initiative emphasizes the development of skilled research personnel by providing opportunities for RMUTT students to gain practical experience in the EV sector alongside NSTDA researchers.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening the research, development, and engineering capabilities of both organizations. It also serves as a key driving force in the advancement of electric vehicles in Thailand, aiming to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and position Thailand as a regional hub for sustainable electric vehicle production.
