ENTEC Holds Strategic Policy Meeting to Review Key Achievements and Present Future Plans to Executive Board

National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC) held its fourth Executive Board Meeting of 2024 on November 8, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. The meeting aimed to review ENTEC’s key accomplishments over the past two years (2023-2024) under the guidance of the current Executive Board. The ENTEC Executive Board is chaired by Professor Dr. Sirirurg Songsivilai, with Professor Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong, President of NSTDA, serving as Vice Chairman. During this occasion, the Executive Board provided valuable recommendations for driving the energy research initiatives toward implementation, investments and creating economic, social, and environmental impacts in alignment with ENTEC’s core mission.

Additionally, Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, ENTEC Executive Director, presented future operational plans to the Executive Board for feedback regarding national energy policies, perspectives from the private sector, manufacturing sector, related industries, and academia. The presentation emphasized the integration of energy research and development initiatives with all aspects of green economy development. ENTEC reaffirmed its commitment to raise awareness on energy transition to address climate change, net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, carbon neutrality, and clean energy development in Thailand. As the nation’s leading energy technology organization, ENTEC continues to play a crucial role in advancing technologies to tackle these critical challenges.
