On October 22, 2025, at MTEC Pilot Plant Building, Thailand Science Park, Pathum Thani
The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), provided support for relief operations to local communities affected by recent flooding in Sing Buri Province through the donation of 2,000 liters of biodiesel fuel.
The biodiesel delivery was led by Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of ENTEC, together with Dr. Peerawat Saisirirat, Team Leader of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team, Low Carbon Energy Reserch Group, Dr. Visarn Lilavivat, Researcher and members of the research team. The biodiesel was handed over to Mr. Chaiwat Khamman, Deputy Chief Executive of the Chee Nam Rai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, In Buri District, Sing Buri Province.
The support aims to utilize biodiesel as a clean fuel for diesel-powered water pumps used in flood relief operations, supporting local communities affected by severe flooding. This effort represents part of ENTEC’s mission to apply clean energy technologies and scientific knowledge for the social benefit.
ENTEC’s contribution not only provides direct relief to flood-affected residents but also helps local authorities reduce operational costs, allowing the Subdistrict Administrative Organization to allocate resources more efficiently toward other community recovery efforts.
