2026.06.17 ENTEC Showcases Sustainable Battery Management Solutions at MTEC–EXAT MoU Signing Ceremony

The Energy Storage Technology Team (ESTT) of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), was invited to feature its research and innovations at the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Scientific and Technological Collaboration Project between the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) and the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT).

During the event, the ESTT team, led by Dr. Jiravan Mongkoltanatas, showcased ENTEC’s research advancements in end-of-life battery management, highlighting ongoing efforts to advance electric vehicle (EV) battery management policies, develop sustainable EV battery handling solutions, promote battery repurposing for second-life applications, and advance battery recycling technologies. These initiatives aim to maximize resource efficiency, foster the circular use of battery materials, and support the development of sustainable energy and transportation infrastructure.

ENTEC’s showcased innovations in end-of-life battery management attracted considerable interest from EXAT representatives, reflecting the growing importance of sustainable battery management in Thailand’s transition toward cleaner transportation and a circular economy.
