February 25, 2025 – At the Press Conference Room, 1st Floor, King Mongkut Building, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI).
The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) hosted a press conference to announce the 20th NSTDA Annual Conference (NAC2025) under the theme: “AI-driven Science and Technology for Sustainable Thailand.” This conference will take place from March 26-28, 2025, at Thailand Science Park, Pathum Thani.
On this occasion, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), led by Dr. Sumitra Charojrochkul, Director of ENTEC, along with Dr. Visarn Lilavivat, a researcher from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency team, participated in the event. They showcased ENTEC’s cutting-edge research and engaged with the media, focusing on “Hydrogen Economy”, one of five key NSTDA research projects that align with the vision of AI-driven science and technology.
Hydrogen Economy by ENTEC NSTDA, through ENTEC, is driving the comprehensive development of hydrogen technologies, utilizing advanced innovations to produce biohydrogen and green hydrogen through eco-friendly biological processes. These technologies play a vital role in supporting Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy, with applications across the energy, transportation, and industrial sectors. A key focus is the development of hydrogen-powered vehicles (FCEVs), a clean technology solution aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
NAC2025 serves as a premier platform for showcasing NSTDA’s research and innovation, in collaboration with key partners, to demonstrate Thailand’s potential in the AI-driven technological era. AI is a pivotal tool in shaping the country’s future through sustainable science and technology advancements.
