The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), led by Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director, along with Dr. Pimpa Limtongkul, Director of the Energy Innovation Research Group, and researchers from the Energy Storage Technology Research Team, warmly welcomed Mr. Sun Xiyi, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kevin Hu, Chief Technology Officer, and Mr. Sudhibhumi Pumhiran, Business Development and Commercialization Manager from NV Gotion Co., Ltd., a joint venture between PTT Group and Gotion Singapore Pte. Ltd., to explore collaborative opportunities in advanced battery research.
During this meeting, Dr. Sumittra presented an overview of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and ENTEC, followed by Dr. Pimpa’s presentation on ENTEC’s research with a special focus on innovative materials for battery systems. Both organizations identified several promising research areas for potential collaboration that could be jointly developed. This marks an important step in establishing the groundwork for a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing domestic battery technology development to address Thailand’s future energy challenges.
