The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), led by Dr. Visarn Lilavivat, Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Dr. Napapat Sitthikitpanya, and the research team from the Low Carbon Energy Research Group, in collaboration with Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Konlayutt Punyawudh, Deputy Director of the Multidisciplinary Research Institute, Chiang Mai University, co-hosted the “Advanced H2 Training and Networking (North)” seminar under the theme “Building a Hydrogen Network for Future Energy.” The seminar was held on September 3–4, 2026, at the Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The event provided a platform for participants to exchange knowledge, information, and the latest developments in hydrogen technologies and their applications, while promoting opportunities for collaboration and network building among government agencies, the private sector, academic institutions, research organizations, and other relevant stakeholders. Such collaboration is expected to contribute to the development of Thailand’s hydrogen industry and ecosystem, while strengthening connections among researchers, academics, and stakeholders working in the field of hydrogen technology.
The seminar also reflects the strong collaboration between NSTDA, through ENTEC, and Chiang Mai University in advancing knowledge, technology, and networks in the hydrogen sector. Through continued cooperation and knowledge exchange, the two institutions aim to support the development of clean energy technologies and hydrogen applications in Thailand, contributing to the country’s transition toward a future-oriented and sustainable energy system.
