ENTEC had organized an online seminar on Lithium-ion Battery Manufacturing Technology: Design & Production

On July 13, 2021, The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), and Thailand Energy Storage Technology Association (TESTA) had organized an online seminar on Lithium-ion Battery Manufacturing Technology: Design & Production

There were two speakers in the seminar, namely, Mr. Panuporn Udompansa and Mr. Christoph Schaeper.

Mr. Panuporn Udompansa works for QUANTUMSCAPE Corp., California, USA and has extensive experience in the battery cell manufacturing for more than 10 years. He had lectured on the battery cell design and important factors affecting cell efficiency starting from active material selection, packaging, tab, cell size, cell production process, and power factors to make faster-changing cells.

Mr. Christoph Schaeper is a CEO Air Energy, Germany. He is an expert in battery pack design and had lectured on this topic, which was an important process for designing battery packs from different types of cells. He has great experience as a manufacturer of battery packs for various applications, especially those used in the top-tier aviation in Germany.

This online seminar was honored by Prof. Dr. Nisai Fuengwarodsakul, Dean of the Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS ), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, who acts as the moderator, and Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, President of Thailand Energy Storage Technology Association (TESTA), the chairman of the seminar, had given a welcome speech to all 643 participants.
