Professor Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong, President of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), along with Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Executive Director of the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), and other NSTDA executives, attended the royal ceremony presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. They also joined in congratulating NSTDA researchers for receiving various prestigious awards, including Outstanding National Researcher Awards, Research Awards, Thesis Awards, and Invention Awards at the “Thailand Inventors’ Day 2025.”
The research project entitled “Development of Rechargeable Zinc-Ion Batteries with High Performance-to-Cost Ratio and Cycle Life” by the Energy Storage Technology Research Team, Energy Innovation Research Group at ENTEC, was honored with the “Good Research Award” in the Physical Sciences and Mathematics field. The research team consists of Dr. Chakrit Sriprachuabwong, Dr. Chatwarin Poochai, Mr. Jaruwit Lohitkarn, and Miss Nattida Maeboonruan, in collaboration with Dr. Adisorn Tuantranont, Vice President of NSTDA, and Dr. Pornanong Pongpaibool, Wireless and Intelligent System Research Team Leader at NECTEC.
