On October 25, 2024, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), led by Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of Low Carbon Energy Research Group, along with the working team consisting of Dr. Visarn Lilavivat and Dr. Tawan Champeecharoensuk, participated in seminar on the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Deep Dive: Regulations, Decarbonization, and Evaluation at Phayathai 3 Room, 6th Floor, Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok.
The event was organized by The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Thai-German Cooperation on Energy, Mobility and Climate (TGC EMC)
During the event, Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, director of Low Carbon Energy Research Group presented on “Overview of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).”
Dr. Visarn Lilavivat, a researcher with ENTEC’s Low Carbon Research Group, presented on “Lesson Learnt and Best Practice of SAF in the Aviation Sector and effects of international and regional regulations on SAF adoption in Thailand”, and Dr. Tawan Champeecharoensuk serving as the main MC at the event.
