ENTEC, NSTDA Welcomes Dr. Ishihara from Kyoto University and Faculty Members from Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology

The National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC) hosted a delegation from Kyoto University and the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, led by Dr. Keiichi Ishihara, Specially Appointed Professor from Kyoto University’s Institutional Advancement and Communications Division and advisor to the Faculty of Engineering at the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI), along with faculty members, to discuss collaboration on engineering and technology personnel development, with an emphasis on Energy Transition and Decarbonization Initiatives.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by ENTEC’s executives, including Executive Director Dr. Sumitra Charojrochkul and Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Director of the Low Carbon Energy Research Group. During the meeting, Dr. Visarn Lilavivat presented an overview of NSTDA and ENTEC, while Dr. Mahunnop Fakkao, Head of the Automotive Engineering Program, introduced the “Green Industrial Engineering Management” curriculum and invited ENTEC researchers to join as guest lecturers.

The visit concluded with a tour of ENTEC’s laboratories, led by Dr. Visarn, Dr. Nattanai Kunanusont, and Dr. Priew Eiamlamai from the Energy Storage Technology Research Team, who guided the guests through the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Laboratory (RENT) and the Energy Storage Technology Testing Laboratory (ESTT). This discussion is expected to lead to future collaboration in academic and research partnerships between the two parties.
