On 2 June 2026, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), welcomed representatives from KEWPIE (Thailand) Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Manit Yamsiri, Factory Director, and his delegation for a visit to the Solar Photovoltaic Technology Research Team’s laboratories and research facilities at Thailand Science Park, Pathum Thani.
On this occasion, Dr. Amornrat Limmanee, Leader of the Solar Photovoltaic Technology Research Team, welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of ENTEC’s research and development activities in solar energy technologies. The visit included presentations on recent advancements in photovoltaic technologies, solar power system performance assessment, and the application of clean energy technologies in industrial sectors. The delegation was also given a tour of ENTEC’s research laboratories and related research infrastructure.
During the visit, representatives from KEWPIE (Thailand) Co., Ltd. shared information on the company’s energy management initiatives. The company has already implemented solar photovoltaic systems at its manufacturing facilities and expressed interest in exploring the potential of renewable energy and other clean energy technologies to further increase the use of green energy, improve energy efficiency, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions within its production operations.
The visit and knowledge exchange provided an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration between the research community and industry. Such engagement supports the practical adoption of energy technologies and innovations, contributing to the advancement of the energy transition and the realization of a low-carbon society.
