On 9 June 2026, the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), NSTDA, led by Dr. Boonyawan Yoosuk, Leader of the Clean Fuel Technology and Advanced Chemistry Research Team, together with researchers, welcomed an executive delegation from Thai Patanakit Transformer Co., Ltd. during their visit to the Clean Fuel and Advanced Chemical Technology Laboratory.
The visit included presentations by ENTEC researchers on the analysis and testing of bio-based transformer oil derived from palm oil. The delegation also toured ENTEC’s state-of-the-art laboratories, equipped with advanced analytical instruments and testing systems, as well as the production system for Safe Palm-based Transformer Oil (EnPAT).
In addition, both parties exchanged perspectives on the application of EnPAT in electrical transformers, along with approaches for performance monitoring and evaluation. The discussion highlighted a shared goal of advancing EnPAT innovation toward industrial deployment, with the aim of enhancing safety and promoting long-term energy sustainability for the country.
